If everything’s working as we think it is, posts by NBN members are now being pushed to Twitter and Facebook (both group and page). The Flickr NBN pool should now also be part of this feed.
What does this mean for you, as a member?
If you, as an NBN member blog, request to be added, your posts will be included in a stream of links shared on Facebook and Twitter. If you add photos to the NBN pool, those will also be included. Free publicity!
What’s the difference between the Facebook group and the Facebook page? The page is visible to everyone and anyone. The group is visible only to members. The page presents the network and its members to the world at large. The group facilitates communication among NBN members. Most of us will want to belong to both, but everyone should choose the best configuration for his or her situation and objectives.
Please speak up in the comments with any questions or concerns. And don’t forget to join the feeds and groups!

Hi Wren
Please add my blog http://www.kolibriexpeditions.com/birdingperu/blog and birdingblogs.com to the feed.
Gunnar
I am fairly new to Twitter and I am still a little confused. If we’re being followed by NBNBlog on Twitter, does that mean our blog posts are being listed in the feed already? Or do we have to do something else to make that happen? I’m wondering because my last post didn’t show up on the NBNBlog feed though I have been followed almost from day one and I posted a link to my latest post on Twitter. No biggie really – I’m mostly curious where my posts are going to show up on NBN’s Twitter presence. Are links to my blog posts going into the NBN members’ tweets list or on the main feed?
Hi, Wren,
Could you add my blog to the feed, too? Wanderin’ Weeta.
Thanks!
Wow, that’s great, Wren! Is this the proper place to request to be added to the feed, or do we just go and join on Facebook? Thank you! I hope we don’t choke Twitter and Facebook with our flood of posts!
Hi Wren. Sounds like a great setup. I would also like mine setup for fb/twitter if not done so already. Nature Observances : http://forestal-plantedtanks.blogspot.com
Thanks for all the hard work y’all are doing here.

I’d like my http://lansingwbu.blogspot.com/ posts to be added to the feed too.
And if it’s not to much trouble, add our location on the maps as Lansing, MI.
I like all these improvements.
Thanks,
Sarah
Sounds great, if this the place to request to be added – I’m requesting! http://www.aslansown.com

Hi, I was wondering how the feeds to FB got added. If you can add mine as well, that would be great. Thanks!
Yeah, could you post directions as to how, exactly, we add ourselves to these feeds? Maybe I’m being thick, but I’m confused. (It’s an awesome idea, though – I love all the improvements you’re rolling out!)
woha – that sound great!
please add my blog dreamfalcon.wordpress.com
and how do I get part of the facebook group? I added the page already.
Great idea! If you can add my blog (in its new location at http://IslandNature.ca ) that would be awesome.
Thanks,
Dave Ingram

OK, I think I got pretty much all of you added to the feed. Just so you know, I’m still working out some of the kinks, so don’t expect perfection just yet.
Dragonflywoman, the NBNBlog on twitter will follow you back if you’re a member. That’s separate from being part of the feed. I’ve added your blog to the feed now, so you should be included.
Thank you Wren, that’s great!
Hi Wren, please add my blog to the facebook and twiiter feeds: http://siempre-verde-venezuela.blogspot.com
