Avimor Birding Blog – Birding adventures at Avimor, a conservation-minded community nestled in the foothills north of Boise, Idaho.

Birding Benstead – Birding and other spotting in southern Sweden and abroad.

The Birding Life – My blog focuses on my personal nature adventures, primarily with birds but also with butterflies, herps and mammals.  There may also be occassional other topics.

The Life of a Bird Tour Leader – This is the day to day life of a Bird Tour Leader, possibly one of the world’s most unusual, rewarding and enjoyable jobs.

Mike Watson’s Diary – A birding and other wildlife diary mostly featuring East Lancashire but also further afield including Mike’s Birdquest tours and indepedent travel.

Pretty Birdies – Blog of an amateur birdwatcher based in/around London. Mostly birds and pictures of birds. Mostly. Some insects.

Conservation

The Modern Naturalist – Thoughts, experiences, and news on nature, biodiversity, habitats, and conservation from writer and naturalist Matthew Sarver.

The Occasional Naturalist – Chronicling the beauty and wonder of the natural world that exists just outside your door.  A window into a world that I only too infrequently, too occasionally open.

Wild Gulch – A photoblog field guide documenting natural life in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in California and encouraging active conservation.

Natural History

Notes From the Field -  Photos, notes and commentary on nature and the changes of the seasons in northeastern Ohio and Cleveland Metroparks.

Stand and Stare – Random jottings on the natural world – mainly about my home ground of Northumberland and Durham in England.

Wilderness Wanderings – Nature happenings at The Wilderness Center in NE Ohio.

Photography

Four Winds Photo Journal – Mostly nature photographs, dragonflies, butterflies, birds, and wildflowers. And, anything else that catches my lens eye while I am out walking or in the garden.

Mother Nature – Birdwatching and nature loving. Currently snapping and ID-ing in Somogy county, Hungary.

My Life-My Art – I use my blog to express my love of nature through art, photography, and words.  I want to bring the small up close, try to enlighten with my idea that nature needs to be protected and enjoyed without being abused!

    That doesn’t surprise me much.
    For some reason Hungarians (and Expats in Hungary) are not overly active in places like forums and networks, sigh :)

    You guys should think about a little twitter button in your blog posts.

    There is one, Nicole, but it’s small and tucked in with a bunch of others. I just added the larger button – the same one you use – to Wrenaissance, and was thinking about suggesting this alternative to the NBN team as well. (Thanks to Gunnar for the tip to check this plugin out.)
