Hey N8,

Thanks so much for the mention of my blog, www.annedrawsanimals.com. I really appreciate it!! I've moved from NYC to Seattle just 2 months ago, to attend the UW certificate in natural science illustration program, but I'm still a New Yorker at heart. Since working in the environmental/wildlife conservation field in Seattle, Hawai'i, and NYC, I've never encountered people more enthusiastic about wildlife than in NYC. surprising it is, considering how dense and urban it is. but maybe hence, the greater appreciation for the nature that is there. kudos too to the many environmental, outdoors, and parks agencies and non-profits working hard to restore, maintain and promote NYC's natural wonders. NYC is fabulous, you should visit, but make sure you make it to the other boroughs in addition to manhattan. we miss it much and are moving back next fall after my schooling.

again, many thanks for the mention!
