As the state of the general global economy continues to deteriorate, many, if not most, of us in the various areas of natural history and conservation have been becoming increasingly concerned about the ability for funding to be raised in support of our favorite causes in the months and perhaps even years to come. Which is why we here at the Nature Blog Network Blog were indeed pleased when not long ago, we were contacted by a representative of The Big Give, a multi-faceted charity facilitator that makes it possible to raise money for a host of worthy causes throughout a wide range of societal and scientific areas.
