Thanks for this site. I was born and raised in Colorado amonced the aspen tree. I would spend hours just laying under them on warm summer day. and listen to them speak to each other. I now live in New Zealand(I do miss the aspen) And there are no aspen here. there is a tree they call kauri. they grow like the redwoods of califonia. there are not a lot of them left du to timber work back in the twentys. But the ones that are still here have such a strong spirit to them. if you ever get a chance to come to New Zealand you must see them and you will know what I am talking about. Cheers Terry

This comment really caught my eye:

"Pablo: A blog carnival can be as ambitious or as casual as the originator wishes. Some sort of focus and some basic guidelines are important. A facility with back-end blogging is helpful, as is an organizing spirit. But it also seems important to be willing to let go of control to some degree and watch the carnival grow in all kinds of interesting directions."

I admire your single minded focus on trees. The photographs are beautiful and unusual. I've taken a more general approach to my "stay young from the inside out" blog carnival.

I pretty much allow anyone who fits under the umbrella category who is providing helpful advice or interesting info on the topic of staying young.

I didn't feel that way at first. But, as Pablo says, I let go of control and allowed different points of view.

Very informative - and surprising images of trees. Thanks :D
