I generally blog while I'm home, but not in the 3-4 days that I'm away at my family's home for Christmas. This is less about whether anyone will read it and more about whether I have the time. I do generally make sure that I arrange for a scheduled post to go up on Christmas Day containing an image as a sort of online Christmas card/greeting. If I was more organized about it, I'd also schedule something to go up on the 26th or 27th, but that pre-Christmas rush always seems to overwhelm me.

I thought about it yesterday, and had something pretty nice that I had wanted to share, but then the unexpected happened. My 9 month old twin grandson ended up in a nearby children's hospital and was placed on oxygen and IV fluids. Poor little chap. He is doing a bit better by now,we hope. It had been my thought to post something after the festivities had calmed, for exact reason given, some do not have celebrations to attend and this is something they look forward to. Once I can get to my desktop, the quicker model, I shall post what I had planned on. It was a brilliant opportunity and I grabbed it~

Well, I don't mind blogging on a holiday, especially if it's our first white Christmas in 83 years. Someone has to shout that from the rooftops! (OK, it's not all that, but it's cool if one scours the record books like I do.)

Absolutely! There are many people who find comfort on the internet because they have no family affairs to attend. Gotta write for them!

Yes, I still blog on holidays. I tend to do lighter posts and save topics that require more effort for days when more people will have time to read.
