If you have contests or promotions, want to share a new project you’re involved in, share a cause you believe in, have items you wish to sell, want to solicit feedback from the NBN community, or anything else that might be of interest to our members, don’t hesitate to send it in!

Online Workshop
Gunnar of A Birding Blog by Gunnar Engblom has organized a 31-day Social Media online workshop for birders. The workshop will address popular social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as other online media like listserves and forums. It will explain how you can make these sites work for you to help you build a wider birding network, and what benefit there is in having such a network. Consisting of 3-4 topics per week over the course of a month, posted at Gunnar’s blog, each post includes a piece of “homework” to help you learn how to make use of your new knowledge.
