Member feedback
Have you seen a dragonfly swarm in your area over the last few months? If so, The Dragonfly Woman wants to hear from you! Chris is conducting research on dragonfly swarming behavior in the US and Canada and is collecting reports from people who have seen them. If you have seen a swarm and wish to contribute to her database, please visit her Contact page, read the notice at the bottom of the page for a list of information she is interested in, and submit your report. This has been an amazing year for dragonfly swarming behavior and we may never see this level of activity again. She’s posted a fascinating write-up on some recent research into migratory dragonfly behaviour using radio transmitters, which is worth a read, and there’s more information there about her study, as well.
