If you’re in the neighborhood of the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge this Saturday, June 13, you have an opportunity to meet up with NBN colleagues and other nature lovers for some bird-watching, nature-observing, photographing, sketching, and all-round fun. NBN members Dawn (of Dawn’s Bloggy Blog) and Christopher (of Picus Blog) have organized an outing for Parker River tomorrow, with optional add-ons for Sunday. You can find the details and links to earlier posts at http://www.picusblog.com/2009/06/birders-who-blog-chirp-and-tweet-field.html.
In addition to the two organizers, I’ve heard that Bev (of Behind the Bins) will be in the flock. Are there any other nature bloggers participating? Drop a comment and let us know. We’re interested in your posts, photos, sketches, and lists after the event, too, so be sure to come back and let us know about all the fun you have while you’re there.
